Accounts

Some features require signing in. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account and for activity that occurs through your signed-in session.

Content and Availability

We work to keep articles, live updates, shorts, media, and features accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete accuracy, or permanent availability of any content.

User Conduct

You agree not to post unlawful, abusive, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or harmful content through comments, live updates, shorts, or any other interactive feature. We may moderate or remove content and restrict access when necessary.

Reporter Program

Users may apply to become a reporter by submitting identity verification details, including a government identity document. By applying, you confirm that the information and documents you provide are accurate and belong to you. Approved reporters may submit articles and short-form video content for editorial review; we reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove submissions and to suspend reporter status for inaccurate information or violations of these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The app design, branding, text, graphics, and other service materials are owned by or licensed to The Clearcut News and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute them except as allowed by law.

Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services such as Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, Supabase, and Bunny CDN/Bunny Stream. Their availability and policies may affect your experience, and your use of those services may also be subject to their terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Clearcut News will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
